Wait I actually forgot my normal order of how I do everythink eeeeeek! Usually I do this bit first but I just went staight into the ranking so sorry spoiler alert I already know what I ranked everything. Tbh like BRAT is so good like I don't have too much to say in this bit anyway but just to let you know I've got a really good memory for this one so watch out for that I think you're gonna really love it.
I think I thought that was going to be harder to rank but maybe it's also just because I didn't listen to the album as I ranked like I usually do so I kind of know generally where everything's gonna go. But like these are all bangers when you really think about it and go into it so... But talk talk on top forever I WISH YOU'D TALK TALK WISH YOU'D TALK TALK WISH YOU'D TALK TALK WISH YOU'D JUST TALK TO MEEEEE TALK TO ME TALK TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
My precious memory attached to this album is that me and my family were all so excited for it to come out so the Thurday night we drove out to McDonalds and got some food and waited for midnight. I was on the aux I pressed play as soon as it came out and we were really loving it it was such a nice time. Then like around maybe actually I don't remember what song it was exactly but we were quite close to the end of the album when all the warning lights in the car started flashing and the car just turned off....? And so we were all like oh no we broke the car like BRAT broke the car and it wouldn't turn back on. So it turns out that we had used up all the battery power by playing the music and we also might have accidentally had the headlights on like the whole time as well so yeah the battery completely ran down. And we were just like... Ok so we're stuck at McDonald's oh no what do we even do we need to listen to the rest of BRAT! So we just sat for a bit I mayyyybe played it from my phone but I don't 100% remember. We just sat around for a few minutes and then the car did turn back on so we drove around to charge the battery back up and we listened to the end of the album as we drove around town in the middle of the night and LET ME TELL YOU. 365 in the city centre in the middle of the night was suchhhhh a vibe. You really had to be there but it was just the best ever.
And also that very same night Please Please Please came out and also the album NO HANDS by Joey Valence and Brae so when we got home I was back to listening again. That was such a good night actually.
And I've got another memory but I'm not gonna put it on here it's a secrettttt
And I've got quite a strong memory of one time waiting to go into work right after BRAT came out and I was listening to B2b and it was at the really good bit where it's like the pre-bridge and I just had such a strong visual of like falling over but it being glitchy like how the vocal is choppy and glitching but falling backwards and now I always imagine that when I listen to that part of the song.
When we were first listening to BRAT in the car I remember thinking about HOW JUICY Sympathy is a knife is like the shade to Taylor... Don't wanna see her backstage at my boyfrind's show / Fingers crossed behind my back I hope they break up quick cause IIIIIII! Yeah but then when I thought about it some more and watched some TikToks about it I realised it's actually not shade because the song is just about how she felt not about anything bad about Taylor.
