The 1975 - Notes On A Conditional Form (2020)

Ok let me just say this is a JUICY album not only in it's length and content but it's loreeeee! So like this album was in the works as they were promoting A Brief Inquiry so they were already talking about another album coming out at that point and (omg) they were going to have like a Dirty Hit festival thing so it would've been Beabadoobee and No Rome and The Japanese House and everyone else all touring together I believe and so they were gonna do that but obviously because 2020 was the year of COVID(!!!!) it didn't go ahead which is so sad! Also FKA Twigs features on this album, she's on If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know) and alsooooo What Should I Say which is pretty cool. So Matty Healy and Twigs were going out but from what I've heard they couldn't sustain it over lockdown I think so really covid like ruined everything but at least we got this banger of an album out of that year. Not that I can really say that properly though because I was not listening to this AT ALL in 2020 it was just Glee Cast covers and Moulin Rouge for me looool! OMG ALSO Phoebe is on this one so much it's such a treat!

Memory

I remember listening to Me & You Together Song for the first time and being like omgggg this is so cute this is gonna be my favourite song and then being like who is The 1975 and little did I know my whole life would change... I'm gonna check my spotistats see if I can find the first time I actually heard that song because I remember hearing it and then putting it on repeat and playing it for my mum and everything it's such a vivid memory. Ok so 15th of August 2022 at 11:08pm apparently. I don't remember it being that late in the day but that's probably accurate like end of year 10. Wow crazy life.
